The latest Oscars Award 2020 | Date, Time and TV info available here

The Oscars are a few days away, happening at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on Feb. 9. All the opposite major awards shows are behind us (get your 100% accurate Oscars predictions here), so it is time to organize for a way to observe or stream the awards show online.

Or you can boycott the Oscars entirely, counting on how you are feeling about the shortage of diversity in major acting categories and best director (Greta Gerwig was sadly snubbed).

But if you are a Joker fan, hold your breath during the 11 categories the foremost nominated movie is up for (yes, the foremost nominated movie at the Oscars may be a magazine movie).

The parasite has surged into the simplest picture conversation with big wins within the precursor awards shows, while 1917, The Irishman and Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood flex 10 nominations each. inspect the way to watch the Oscars (which are going hostless for the second year during a row) below.

Date and begin time

The Oscars will happen at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

US: The Oscars start at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 9.

UK: The Oscars start at 1 a.m. GMT on Monday, Feb. 10.

Australia: The Oscars start at midday AEST on Monday, Feb. 10.

The Oscars will air on ABC within the US. To stream online, there are a few options:

ABC is streaming the live broadcast of the Oscars on the ABC website, but only to specific cities and only after you check in with a participating pay-TV provider -- typically a cable company, satellite provider, or live streaming service.

Another option is Locast, which streams local broadcasters, including ABC, in certain large US cities, for free. And in fact, you'll always use an antenna to undertake to select up the ABC station in your area (DVR optional).

If you subscribe to a live TV streaming service that carries ABC in your city, you'll use it to observe the Oscars too. AT&T TV Now (previously DirecTV Now), Hulu with Live TV and YouTube TV all carry ABC in most US cities. All of them offer a seven-day free trial, so you'll check in now and cancel after the ceremony if you would like. Note that Sling TV, Fubo TV, AT&T Watch Now, and Philo don't carry ABC in the least.
